Bradford for Europe members joined a Yorkshire for Europe three night trip to Brussels from 7th to 10th July. The team travelled by coach, departing on an overnight ferry to Zeebrugge, and returning on another ferry via Rotterdam. The team placed a bouquet of knitted Yorkshire roses at the Place Jo Cox, and sang hymns in her memory. Around 60 people carrying EU flags, Union flags and Yorkshire flags marched through the streets of Brussels. They sang pro-EU songs outside the European Parliament, and moved on to the European Commission building. They were accompanied by a brass band, string instruments, opera singers and EU Supergirl Madeleina Kay. The group was joined by two Yorkshire MEPs, Magid Magid of the Green Party and Liberal Democrat Shaffaq Mohammed, along with Jude Kirton-Darling (Labour, North East) and Caroline Voaden (South West).  Here is an article from the Yorkshire Post.
